Impromptu mini-break

On Friday night, mummy decided we needed a mini-break. So we booked a hotel (with a heated indoor pool - hooray!) on Saturday morning and set off to Fredericksburg.

Fredericksburg and neighbouring Spotsylvania hosted four bloody battles during the Civil War (I lectured mummy about using the word 'bloody' because it is a bad word but she said it was alright in this context - I'm not sure what context means)

We visited the sunken road where the Confederates held of the Union forces from behind a stone wall - giving Stonewall Jackson the celebrated Confederate leader his nickname.

Thousands of Union Soldiers died in the battle of Fredericksburg and none got as close to the stone wall as me!
I also liked going to Chucky Cheese for dinner - mummy and daddy less so

Let's bowl, let's bowl, let's rock'n'roll

Yesterday we went on a family outing to the bowling alley.

I had lots of fun throwing the bowling ball down the alley and launching the ball from the kiddie ramp like a cannon ball.

Cool bowling shoes

Old School scoring

To begin with Daddy helped me throwing the ball
