The buildings were the tallest I've ever seen!
We caught the train up on Thursday night and went straight to our hotel as it was quite late.
On Friday Mummy had meetings and Daddy, Cherry and I caught the Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty - it was sooooo cold - didn't get above 0 degree celcius all day.
We walked home past the set of the Today show; Radio City Music Hall and the Rockefeller Centre.
On Saturday we strolled along Madison Ave and 5th Ave on our way to the Central Park Zoo. We saw tropical birds and bats; swans that honked in imitation of the sound of the emergency sirens you can always hear in New York and lots of penguins. We also went to the children's zoo and Cherry and Daddy fed the goats - I was a bit too scared that they'd bite me.
Cherry had to fly home to Australia on Saturday night so Mummy and I went on a date to an Indian restaurant. The Lamb Palak was yummy in my tummy and we bought ice-cream on the way back to the hotel.
Today I caught the bus back to DC and Mummy caught the train and drove the car for the first time all by herself - good thing there was no traffic!
I enjoyed my trip to New York and am looking forward to taking Arwen there next year and we might even get to see the Lion King on broadway
